Crompton Greaves Limited

We are based in CG House on the 6th floor, over on Dr. Annie Besant Road in Worli. Being in Worli means we are right in the middle of a lot of action, and the sea isn't too far away, though we don't see it much from the desks. The office is quite large compared to some of the smaller shops around here. We deal with a lot of different things like fans, pumps, and heavy electrical stuff. Even though it’s a big name, the daily grind feels pretty much like any other job. There are always people running around with folders or heading to meetings. The elevators are usually packed in the mornings. We have a lot of history at this location and you can see it in some of the older furniture and the way things are organized. It’s not a shiny new glass building, but it has a solid feel to it. We spend a lot of time on emails and talking to vendors. It gets a bit hectic when we have new product lines coming out or when the fiscal year is ending. We don't really do the whole corporate jargon thing among ourselves; we just try to keep the supply chain moving. It’s a lot of hard work and sometimes the days feel very long. We just show up and keep the wheels turning without thinking too much about the fancy side of things.
