Cream Corner

Our place, Cream Corner, is right on Mulund East Main Road 1. If you live around here, you’ve probably walked past us a hundred times. We started this because we wanted a simple spot where people could grab something cold or a quick snack without any fuss. The shop isn't very large, but we make the most of the space we have. Usually, the afternoons are quiet, and then it gets really busy once the schools let out and people start heading home from work. We spend a lot of time cleaning the counters and making sure the freezers are running right because if the temperature drops even a little, it’s a big problem for the stock. It’s a lot of manual work, honestly. We aren't trying to be some high-end cafe; we just want to be the local spot where you know what you’re getting. Sometimes we run out of the popular flavors, and people get a bit disappointed, but we try to keep the favorites in stock as much as possible. My brother and I run the front, and we have a couple of helpers for the busy hours. Mulund East has changed a lot over the years, with new buildings coming up everywhere, but the Main Road is still the heart of it. We like being part of the daily commute for so many people. It’s nice to see familiar faces every evening. We just keep things moving and try to keep the place tidy.
