Craftex

Finding us at 6 1st Floor in Al Karim Manzil can be a bit of a puzzle the first time. We are right by Tribhuvan Park Society and the Gotri Vasna Road area, but people mostly know us for being near Crawford Market. It is a very busy spot. The stairs up to the first floor are a bit narrow, so you have to watch your step. Once you get inside, it’s mostly just boxes and workspace. We don’t have a fancy lobby or a receptionist. Usually, one of us will just look up from what we’re doing and say hello. The windows look out over the street and it’s always interesting to see what’s going on down there. We’ve been here at Craftex for a while now. The building is older, which gives it some character, though the elevator is moody sometimes. We prefer just taking the stairs anyway. Our day starts early before the heat gets too bad. We spend most of our time sorting through stock and making sure things are where they belong. It’s a lot of manual work and we get tired by the end of the day. We don't have a big marketing department or anything. It’s just a few of us making sure the business keeps running. We like the location because everything is close by. If we need something, we just walk down the street to get it done.
