Craftbox Creativity Centre

You can find us at number 23 in the Kailas Darshan building. We are right by the Kennedy Bridge at Nana Chowk. It is a busy part of the city, and there is always something going on outside our windows. We have this space where we work on different creative projects. It is usually a bit of a mess with scraps of material, tools, and half-finished things lying around on the tables. We don’t mind the clutter though, because it shows someone is actually doing something. The walls are a bit scuffed from moving furniture around, and the lighting could probably be better. Most of the people who come here are just folks from the neighborhood or students looking for a place to build stuff. We don't have a receptionist or a big shiny sign. You just walk in and find whoever is around. Sometimes we sit around and drink tea while figuring out how to fix a mistake on a project. It’s a very informal place. The bridge nearby makes the whole building vibrate a little when heavy trucks go over it. We've stayed here because it’s easy for people to get to from the station. It’s just a simple room where we try to make things work out. We don't follow a strict corporate schedule, we just stay until the work is finished for the day.
