Costa Cruise Lines

We are over at Kostka House, specifically in the A-Wing, which is part of St. Peter’s Co-Op Housing Society on Manuel Gonsalves Marg in Bandra West. It is a quiet enough street compared to the main shopping roads of Bandra. This is where we handle the details for the cruise lines. It involves a lot of planning and making sure everything is ready for the ships before they set sail. We spend our time checking guest lists and cabin assignments on our screens. The office is a regular room in a residential society building. It is not a high-rise office block with a big lobby. We like it this way because it feels more personal and less corporate. Most of the day is spent on the computer or talking to the port authorities on the phone. There is a lot of logistics involved in cruises that people do not usually see from the outside. We have to make sure the supplies are right and the arrival schedules are set. It is a lot of back-and-forth communication throughout the week. Being in Bandra means there are good places to grab a quick bite nearby, which is nice when things get busy. We do not use any fancy marketing slogans or anything like that. We just focus on the work at hand. It is a small team here and we all know what needs doing.
