Connaught Network Services

Connaught Network Services is tucked away in the BDD blocks of Worli. If you know Mumbai, you know the BDD chawls and blocks have their own feel. We are in block 30/38 on G.M Bhosale Marg. It’s an old building, very sturdy but showing its age in the corners and the stairwells. We have our setup here with all the network gear and wires everywhere. It is a bit messy because we are always working on something new or fixing a router. The fans hum all day to keep the machines cool. Outside on the street, it’s the usual Worli noise with cars and people going to work. We’ve been at this address, Mumbai-18, for a long time and the neighbors know us. We aren't a big company with a glass building. It’s just a few rooms where we handle the technical stuff. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but we are usually too busy with the internet connections to worry about that. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to scramble, but that’s life here. We drink a lot of tea from the stall downstairs. It helps get through the long afternoons when the heat gets heavy. We just focus on the work and keep the network running as best as we can from this small corner of the block. It’s a practical way to run a business and we don't need much else.
