Compare N Travel

Our office is tucked away in Kaliandas Udyog Bhavan, right near Century Bazar in Prabhadevi. It is a busy building with lots of different businesses going on every day. Compare N Travel is on the 4th floor, in room 442. We spend our days staring at computer screens, looking at flight schedules and hotel prices. Mumbai traffic is always a topic of conversation here because getting to the office can be a bit of a struggle for some of the staff in the mornings. We have maps pinned to the walls, though we mostly use the internet for everything now. It is a functional space with a few chairs for visitors and some old filing cabinets that have been here since we first opened. We drink a lot of tea and coffee while trying to figure out the best routes for people. Sometimes the elevators in the building take forever, so we end up taking the stairs to save time. It is not a big corporate setup with glass walls. It is just us trying to help people get from one place to another without too much trouble. We know the Prabhadevi area well and like being near the bazaar because there is always good food nearby for lunch breaks. People walk in with all sorts of travel plans, some realistic and some not so much. We just sit down and see what we can find for them on the system. It is honest work and we like the variety it brings to our lives.
