Our place is located at D8/241 in the Century Colony in Shahad, which is under the Thane district in Ulhasnagar. 421103. The colony is an older part of the area, and it has a very specific feel to it with the rows of housing and the local shops nearby. Being in Ulhasnagar means we are right in the thick of things. The office is a simple room where we keep all our supplies and do our daily tasks. It’s a bit of a walk from the main station, but it’s a good way to get some exercise before the workday starts. We mostly deal with local paperwork and handle the regular stuff that comes our way. There isn't much in the way of decoration here; we just have our desks, some chairs, and a calendar on the wall that is usually a few months behind. The walls are a bit thin, so you can hear the neighbors going about their day, which makes it feel less like a corporate box and more like a part of the community. We get our tea from the shop at the corner of the colony entrance. It’s a reliable spot for us because it’s close to home for most of the people working here. We don't spend money on fancy things, we just focus on doing the work until the sun goes down and it's time to head home. The traffic outside can get a bit loud, but inside we just keep things moving at our own steady pace.
