Cnc Preci-Turn (India) Ltd operates out of Unit No.12 in the Geeta Industrial Estate on I.B. Patel Road. Being in Goregaon East, we are right in the thick of Mumbai’s industrial side. The estate is always crowded, with people moving crates and vans trying to squeeze through the lanes. Our unit isn't massive, but we’ve packed it with our CNC machines. They take up most of the floor space, leaving just enough room for us to move between them. The air always has that faint smell of cutting oil and warm metal, which is something you just get used to. We do a lot of precision turning work, which means we spend a lot of time staring at screens and checking calipers. It’s a high-pressure environment sometimes because the deadlines are tight and the parts have to be exactly right. During the monsoon, the rain hits the roof so loud we can hardly hear each other talk. We don't have a big corporate structure. There’s a manager, a few operators, and someone to handle the paperwork. We’ve been at this I.B. Patel Road address for a long time, and we know most of the other shop owners nearby. It’s a hardworking community. We just focus on our machines and making sure the parts we turn out are what the customer asked for. Every day is pretty much the same here, and that suits us fine.
