If you know Ghatkopar West then you know how these streets can get. It is a very lived-in part of Mumbai with a lot of noise and people always walking around. We are at the 400 084 zip code spot. The office itself is pretty simple and functional for what we need to do. We handle a lot of global service tasks but we do it from this local corner of the city. Sometimes the rain makes the lanes a bit messy outside but we just keep the computers running and get through the work. It is a mix of people here and some of us have been working in this area for years. We don't have any big flashy signs out front. You just find the right door in the chawl and walk in. The desks are close together and there is always someone talking on a phone or typing. It is the kind of place where you know your neighbors and the local shopkeepers. We aren't trying to be anything fancy or corporate-sounding. We just show up and do the jobs we are assigned. Ghatkopar is a tough place sometimes but it feels like home to us. That is just how our day goes.
