Our place is in Arakere Village G30, near Colaba Po. It’s a bit of a quiet area compared to the main streets, which we mostly like. The shop is in a simple building and we don’t have any big windows. We spend the day working with the ovens and the cooling racks. Sometimes the temperature in the village gets really high, and we have to work faster so the chocolate doesn't get too soft to handle. We have a small fridge that hums loudly in the corner. Most of the furniture we use is just basic stuff we found or had built locally. The floor is concrete, and we try to keep it swept, but sugar and cocoa powder always seem to find their way into the corners. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us in G30, making things and putting them into bags. Sometimes the delivery truck can't find the specific spot in Arakere Village, so we have to go out to the main road to wave them down. It’s a bit of a hassle, but it’s part of the daily routine. We don't really have a place for people to sit and eat; it’s more of a workspace where we get things ready for people to take home. We just worry about the temperature and making sure the batches turn out okay.
