Chococ Delites

Our place, Chococ Delites, is over in Bandra West, just off Carter Road near Seep. It is a nice area because you can catch the breeze from the sea if you stand in the right spot outside the door. We have a small shop where we work on different kinds of chocolate treats. It is mostly a quiet operation, except for the sound of the tempering machines and the occasional fridge motor. We spend a lot of time experimenting with different ingredients, though we usually stick to what we know people like. The shop has a few shelves and a glass case where we keep the finished items. Bandra is a busy place, but our little corner stays relatively calm. We get a mix of people coming in, from joggers on Carter Road to families out for a walk. Sometimes the humidity makes the chocolate difficult to work with, so we have to keep the air conditioner running all day long. We are not a big company with many locations. It is just this one spot where we do everything ourselves. We wash the trays, wrap the products, and talk to the customers when they wander in. It is a lot of repetitive work, but it is satisfying to see the finished pieces all lined up in the morning. We just keep things simple and try to stay organized in the small space we have. It is just us here making things day by day.
