Choc Le Enterprises

We have been running Choc Le Enterprises in Dadar Colony for quite a long time now. It is a small place tucked into one of the older buildings here. My brother and I manage the daily work mostly on our own. We get up early to open the shutters and start arranging the shelves before the first customers show up around ten. The shop isn't anything fancy, just a few glass counters and some shelves for the sweets. Most of the people who come in are from the neighborhood, so we know their names and what they like. Some days are very slow, and we just sit by the door watching the cars go by on the street. Other days, like during the local festivals, we are so busy we don't even have time to drink tea. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but we haven't found the time to do it yet. We keep a small radio in the corner that plays old songs all day. It keeps us company. Sometimes the delivery van gets stuck in the narrow lanes of the colony, and we have to carry the boxes in ourselves. It’s hard work but it’s what we’ve always done. We don't have a big team or a corporate office. It is just us here every day, making sure the jars are full and the floor is swept. We like the quiet life in this part of town.
