Chetan Engineering Corporation

Our office is A-5 in Amrut Nagar. We still use PO Box No 1817 because we’ve had it forever. The shop is on Bazar Gate Street, which is a very old and narrow part of the city. Getting materials delivered here is a bit of a nightmare because the trucks can’t always get close to the door. We have to use small carts to move things sometimes. Chetan Engineering Corporation is basically me and two assistants. We do a lot of small-scale engineering work and supply parts to other shops. The air in Bazar Gate Street is always heavy with the smell of the market. Our space is packed with boxes and metal pieces. We don't have a lot of room to move around, but we are used to it. I spend a lot of my time writing out bills and checking the inventory. We’ve been here since before the area got so crowded. It’s a lot of manual work and we get tired by the end of the shift. We don't use any fancy software, just a ledger and some basic tools. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we just sit outside for a bit until it comes back. It's not a flashy business, just a regular engineering outlet in a busy market street. We know most of the other shop owners around here.
