Chaurasiya Tobacco & General Stores

We are at Shop Number 3 in Guru Kripa Niwas. It’s a local spot in Bhai Himat Singh Nagar, Andheri East, right on College Road. Being next to Dr. Patil Clinic means we see a lot of people passing by all day long. We keep the shelves stocked with all the basic things folks need—tobacco, snacks, soap, and whatever else is in demand. The shop is small, so we have to use every inch of space, even hanging things from the ceiling. It’s a busy corner, and we usually know what the regulars want before they even ask. Some come for their morning smokes, others for a quick snack between classes or work. We open early and stay open until the street goes quiet at night. There’s no big warehouse behind us, just what you see on the shelves. Sometimes things get a bit disorganized when a big delivery comes in and we have to stack boxes in the middle of the floor until we can find a place for everything. It’s a simple life running a general store. We hear all the local gossip and know most of the families living in the nearby buildings. It’s not a fancy place, just a convenient one for the neighborhood. We make sure the change is ready and the products are fresh. It’s hard work being on your feet all day, but we like being part of the daily routine here and seeing the same faces every single morning.
