Chandrakala General Stores

We are located at 348 Sodawala Lane, right on the corner where S V P Road cuts through Nehru Nagar. It is a busy little corner and we have been here for a good while. The shop isn't very big, but we try to stock all the basics that families in the neighborhood need. You can find lentils, rice, different kinds of biscuits, and household cleaners on our shelves. We don't have those fancy scanners, so we just count everything up and tell you the total. People stop by on their way home from work to grab a few things for dinner. It gets really busy in the evenings when everyone is out doing their shopping. We spend a lot of time dusting the jars and making sure the older stock is at the front. The sidewalk outside is always crowded with people walking to the station or the bus stop. We know which neighbor likes which brand of tea, and we try to keep those things in stock. It is a simple life running a store like this. There is always some gossip to hear from the regulars who stay for a chat. Sometimes the delivery trucks block the lane and we have to help them move stuff quickly. It is just a local store for local people who want to pick up their groceries without any fuss or trouble.
