Our place is at 122 in the Goragandhi Building, which is right in the heart of Bhuleshwar. We are quite close to Harkishandas Hospital, so there is always an ambulance or a crowd nearby on the street. Bhuleshwar is one of those places that never seems to go to sleep no matter what time it is. It is crowded and loud, and that is exactly where Chanakya Mistry Industrial & Associates belongs. We have been in this building for many years. It is an old structure with high ceilings and those heavy doors that have seen a lot of history in this city. We don't have a modern office with glass walls or fancy carpets. Our space is filled with old files, heavy desks, and the general clutter that comes from doing this kind of industrial work for so long. We spend a lot of time on the phone or talking to people who drop by for advice or to discuss a specific project they have in mind. It is a very hands-on environment. You won't find any corporate slogans on our walls. We just focus on the task at hand and try to make sense of the daily chaos of the market outside. Sometimes the lift in the building doesn't work, so we end up taking the stairs a lot which is a bit of a workout. It keeps us moving. We are just a group of people who know their way around the industrial side of things, working out of a corner of Mumbai.
