Champawat Brush Company

Our workshop is up on the second floor of Ambaji M in Borivali East. It’s Flat Number 7, and we are quite close to the Borivali Post Office, which is handy for when we need to send things out. We make and sell all kinds of brushes. It’s a hands-on kind of place. There are boxes stacked up in the corners and the smell of materials is always in the air. We aren't a big factory, just a small team working in a residential-style building. Carrying supplies up to the second floor keeps us fit, though it can be a pain on hot days. The area is usually crowded because of the post office nearby. We spend our days sorting through bristles, handles, and getting orders packed up for customers. It is a bit messy sometimes, but that is how it goes when you are actually making things. We don't have a showroom or anything like that. People just come to the flat if they need to talk to us or pick something up. It’s a quiet enough street once you get inside the building. We’ve been doing this for years, just sticking to our routine and making sure the quality is what it should be. It’s honest work and we like being in this part of Borivali. Nothing fancy, just us and our brushes in a small second-floor flat. We usually stop for a tea break around four when it gets a bit quieter outside.
