Cascade International

You can find Cascade International inside the Nawab Building on D N Road. We are in unit 25/327. This part of Fort has so much character, with the old buildings and the high ceilings. Our office is one of those places that feels like it’s been here forever. The windows are large but they rattle a bit when the heavy buses go past on the street below. We don’t have modern cubicles or glass walls. It’s just old wooden desks and filing cabinets that have seen better days. We do a lot of international coordination from here. It involves a lot of waiting for calls and sending out documents. The hallways in Nawab Building are a bit dark, but once you get inside our space, it’s alright. There’s a small pantry where we make tea. We’ve been operating this way for a long time. We don’t feel the need to change just to look modern. The people who work here have been with us for years. We know the chai wallah downstairs and the postman knows us by name. It’s a steady pace of work. We aren’t trying to impress anyone with a lobby. We just focus on the tasks we have for the day. It’s a practical way to run a business in the heart of the city. We like the history of the area and being part of it, even if the building is a bit leaky.
