Carlton Industrial Engineers

Carlton Industrial Engineers is located at the Manipal Centre in Prabhadevi, specifically in room 221. We’ve been working out of this space for quite a bit. It’s an office setup where we handle the engineering side of things. We don’t have a big factory floor right here, mostly it’s just desks, computers, and a lot of technical drawings scattered around. The building itself is quite busy with other offices too. We spend our days looking at plans and talking to clients about their industrial needs. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we know how to do. Sometimes the tea guy comes around and that’s the highlight of the afternoon. We have a small staff, mostly people who have been with us for years. We aren't really interested in being a huge corporation. We just like doing the technical work and making sure the engineering specs are correct. The commute to Prabhadevi can be a bit of a pain with the traffic, but we manage to get in on time. Our office is functional. There are files everywhere because we still keep a lot of hard copies of projects we did ten years ago. It’s just how we operate. We don’t put much effort into the decor or looking polished. If the phones are working and the computers are on, we are good to go for the day. It is just us working.
