C Ratilal & Co

We are located at 30 Masjid Bunder West, quite close to the Bombay Mercantile Bank. C Ratilal & Co has been around this neighborhood for quite a while. Masjid Bunder is a place that feels like it never sleeps. There are carts and trucks moving goods all day long. Our office is tucked away near the bank, which makes it a bit easier for people to find us among all the narrow streets. Inside, it is mostly old wooden desks and stacks of ledgers. We haven't changed much over the years because the old way of doing things still works for us. It is a bit dusty because of all the construction and movement outside, but that is just how this part of town is. We drink a lot of tea while we work through the accounts and orders. It is a lot of manual work, checking things twice to make sure there are no mistakes. We don't use much fancy technology. A few basic computers do the job. The staff here has been together for a long time, so we all know how to work around each other. It is a small team, and we just get on with it. We don't spend money on advertising or anything like that. People know we are here and they know where to find us. That is enough for us to keep going every day. It is just a simple, traditional way of running a business in a busy area.
