Swan Leather Exports

Our workspace is up on the 4th floor of the Retiwala Industrial Estate, specifically in Gala No. 408. We are located on H. A. Palav Marg in the Ghodapdeo area of Byculla. If you know this part of town, you know it is an old industrial hub. Swan Leather Exports smells strongly of raw leather the moment you step off the elevator. It is a heavy, earthy scent that we don't even notice anymore, but visitors always do. The machines hum all day long, and there is always a layer of dust on the windows. We spend our time sorting through hides, checking for marks, and making sure the finishes are okay. It is a physical job and the floor is usually covered in scraps of leather and heavy tools. We don't have a fancy office or a polished showroom for guests. It is just a factory floor where the actual work happens. The elevator in this building is quite old and can be slow, so we often end up taking the stairs. We have a small group of workers who have been with us for years, and their hands show the hard work they put in every day. It gets quite warm in here during the summer months, but we keep the fans going and stay focused on our orders. Byculla is a busy place, and we are just trying to keep up with the daily demands of the leather trade.
