Shop 33 in the Tijoriwala Building has been our home for years. We are tucked away behind the Asha Guest House on Grant Road. It is a small shop but we keep it packed with all sorts of clothes for men. We get a lot of regulars who live around here or stay at the guest house. Sometimes the street gets a bit crowded, but people still find their way to us. I started this because I always liked the way a good shirt looks. We have everything from basic pants to stuff you might wear for a wedding or a party. It isn't a big showroom, just a cozy place where you can look through the racks. My brother helps me out on the weekends when it gets really packed. We talk to everyone who comes in, even if they aren't buying anything that day. It's nice to see familiar faces. We do some alterations too if things don't fit quite right. The lighting in the shop could be better, I guess, but it works for us. We just try to keep the shelves stocked with things people actually want to wear. Grant Road is a busy place, and being behind the guest house means we get all kinds of travelers too. It’s just us here every day, making sure the shirts are folded and the shop stays open for whoever needs some new clothes. We aren't trying to be fancy, just offering decent clothes for the guys in the neighborhood.
