Our office is over at Vardhaman Chamber, right near Horniman Circle in the Fort area. Being in this part of Mumbai, specifically on Cawasji Patel Road, means there is always something going on outside. Brickmart Constructions And Developersprivate Limited is basically a small team working out of the fourth floor. It is a busy neighborhood with lots of old buildings and other offices. We spend a lot of time on site, but the office at 17G is where all the planning happens. It is not a large place by any means, just enough room for the essentials. Construction is what we do for a living. We don't really do much else besides that. Usually, there are maps and site plans spread out over the tables. It gets a bit dusty in here sometimes because of the nature of the work we handle. Living and working in Fort has its own rhythm. We’ve been at this address for a bit now. Most days are spent on the phone or checking on how things are moving along at various locations. We aren't really into big corporate talk or anything like that. We just show up, do the work, and manage the projects we have on our plate. If someone needs to find us, they usually come up to floor 4. The commute to the office can be a bit of a trek through the crowds, but that is just how it is in this city. We keep things pretty simple.
