We’ve been at the Windsor Building in Borivali East for a while now. If you know Shiv Vallabh Road, you know how busy it gets around Ashok Van. Our office is in B-604. It’s not a huge place, but we manage to get all our leather export work done from here. Most days start with checking the new batches and making sure the paperwork for the Indian customs is sorted out. It’s just leather, mostly, shipped out to different places. The traffic on the way to Borivali can be a headache sometimes, but we’re used to it. We don't really do much fancy stuff, just handle the exports and talk to suppliers. Sometimes the elevator in the building acts up, so we take the stairs. It keeps us moving. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years. We just keep our heads down and do the work. There’s always some new box coming in or something being packed for a client overseas. It gets a bit dusty with all the leather samples lying around, but that’s just how the business is. We like being in this part of Mumbai. It’s got a good feel to it, even if it’s crowded. We just make sure the quality is what it should be before anything leaves the door. It’s a simple setup, really. Just a few desks, some computers, and a lot of leather goods waiting to go out.
