Blitz Eventz

If you’ve ever been down to Mangaldas Market in Kalbadevi, you know how crowded it gets. Our shop, number 278 in Navratna, is right in the middle of all that 8th Lane action. It’s a tight squeeze sometimes with all the fabric shops and people moving around, but Blitz Eventz has been tucked away here for a good bit. We started out doing small stuff for the local traders and it just grew from there. Mumbai is a fast city, and Kalbadevi is even faster. We spend a lot of our time on the phone or running out to meet vendors. The office isn't much to look at, just desks, some old folders, and samples of stuff we’ve used before. It’s noisy outside with the handcarts and the shouting, but we’re used to it by now. We don’t really do the whole corporate pitch thing. People usually find us by word of mouth or because they walked past the shop while buying clothes. It’s a lot of hard work, especially when the monsoon hits and the lanes get messy, but we keep at it. We handle whatever comes our way, from small birthday setups to bigger things. It’s a family-run kind of feel here. We know the chai wallah and the other shopkeepers. It feels like home even when it’s stressful. We just want to get the work done right and make sure everything is in its place before the day starts.
