Fine Art is a little shop located in Building 2B of the Jai Hind Estate. We are at Shop Number 18, which is really close to the Kabutar Khana. If you walk past the area where everyone feeds the pigeons, you'll find us pretty easily. It’s a bit of an old-fashioned neighborhood and our shop fits right in. We deal with all sorts of art-related things, mostly framing and supplies for the local students and hobbyists. The space is cramped because we have frames leaning against the walls and stacks of paper everywhere. You can usually smell the wood glue and the fresh cut timber. We don't have a website or a social media manager. People just come in because they saw our sign or their neighbor told them we do a decent job with pictures. It's a hands-on kind of place. I spend a lot of time measuring borders and making sure the glass is clean before it goes into the frame. The estate itself is quite old and has a lot of character. We like being near the Kabutar Khana because there is always some life and movement outside the door. It’s not a high-end gallery, just a practical shop for people who care about their photos and paintings. We just take it one frame at a time and try to keep the dust off the work as we go through the day.
