India Tour

You can find India Tour over in the B-Wing at G-2 of Thewar Apartment. We are right on the Sion Mahim Link Road, near the Dharavi area. It is a very busy spot because that road is a major artery for the city. Our office is on the ground floor, which makes it easy for people to just walk in when they are passing by. We have posters of different places on the walls, but they are a bit old now and the colors have faded from the sun coming through the window. Most of the day is spent on the phone or checking bus and train schedules on the computer. It gets pretty noisy outside with all the cars and buses going towards Mahim or Sion, so we usually keep the door closed to keep the dust out. We have a couple of desks and some extra chairs for people who come in to talk about their travel plans. Sometimes it’s just someone looking for a ticket to their village, and other times it’s a family planning a bigger trip. We’ve been at this address for a long time, so we know the local shops and the people who live in the apartments above us. It’s a small operation, just a few of us making sure everything is booked correctly. We don’t have any fancy travel brochures with glossy paper, just our knowledge and the basic tools to get people where they need to go.
