Bhagwati Stores & Luggage

We have been here at 21 Khot Chawl for quite some time now. People usually find us because we are right opposite Goyal Shopping Center on Shahaji Raje Road. Borivali West is a busy area, so it gets noisy outside, but inside we just focus on what we do. We handle all sorts of bags and suitcases. Sometimes customers come in looking for something specific for a trip, and other times they just need a small bag for daily use. We don't have fancy displays or anything like that. It is mostly just stacks of luggage and us trying to keep everything organized. The shop isn't huge, but we make it work. Most days it's just about helping people find a zipper that works or a bag that fits their budget. We see a lot of locals coming in, some who have been living in Borivali for decades. It's nice to see familiar faces. The weather gets hot in this part of Mumbai, so we keep the fan running high. We try to keep things simple here. If someone asks for a suitcase, we show them what is on the shelf. There isn't much more to it than that. We open up in the morning and stay until the evening rush dies down. If you are walking near the shopping center, you will likely see our sign. We just keep doing what we've always done, day after day, right here in the same spot. We don't really do big advertisements. Most people just walk in.
