We run this Baskin Robbins branch over in Sher E Punjab Society on Mahakali Road. It’s a quiet enough area compared to the main roads, but we still get a good number of people coming through. It’s a small shop, mostly just the display cases and a place for people to stand while they choose. We spend a lot of time cleaning the glass because kids are always putting their hands on it to see the flavors. That’s just part of the job. We have all the usual flavors you'd expect. Some days it’s quiet and we just sit and wait for the evening rush. Usually, after dinner time, the whole neighborhood seems to show up at once. It gets a bit chaotic then. We’re just regular people working here, trying to get the scoops right and making sure the change is correct. We don’t have any fancy speeches about what we do. We just sell ice cream. The freezers hum all day long, which you get used to after a while. Sometimes the delivery truck comes late and we have to wait around for the tubs to arrive. We know the regulars who come in every week for their usual cup or cone. It’s nice to have those familiar faces. We’ve been at this location for a bit now and it feels like a solid part of our daily routine. We just keep things moving as best as we can every day.
