Our business is situated right on P D Mello Road in Mumbai, near Carnac Bunder. We’re in an old building called Shroff Bhuvan, taking up rooms 11, 12, and 13 on the first floor. It’s a very industrial part of the city, with the docks nearby and trucks constantly moving back and forth. We deal with cranes and heavy equipment, which is a tough business to be in. The office always smells a bit like diesel and old paper. It’s loud outside with the traffic from the port, but we’re used to it. We don't have a polished showroom; our equipment is out at various sites or in the yard. We spend our time coordinating where the cranes need to go and making sure they are maintained properly. It’s heavy work and it’s often quite greasy. We’ve been at this location for a long time, and the building has a lot of history. We don’t bother with fancy mission statements or anything like that. We just provide the machines that people need to move heavy stuff. It’s a straightforward trade. Sometimes the logistics of moving a big crane through Mumbai streets is a nightmare, but that’s what we do. Our team knows these machines inside and out. It’s not the cleanest job in the world, but it’s what we know and we’ve been doing it long enough to not need any fancy titles or marketing tricks to get by.
