Bapu Travels

Bapu Travels has been operating out of our small office at 42 Colaba Po for quite some time now. We aren't a big fancy company with a call center or anything like that. It's mostly just a few of us here handling the phone calls and making sure the drivers know where they are going. Colaba is always crowded, so getting cars in and out can be a bit of a headache sometimes, but we manage it. We deal with all sorts of local trips and sometimes longer journeys if people need them. Most of our customers are folks from the neighborhood or tourists who wander in because they saw our sign. We started this because we knew the roads well and had a couple of decent vehicles. It isn't always smooth sailing, especially when the traffic gets bad near the post office, but we do what we can to get things sorted. You won't find any glossy brochures here, just some maps and a desk with a lot of papers on it. We spend most of the day talking to people about train timings or taxi rates. It’s a simple setup. We don't try to be something we aren't. People just want to get from one place to another without too much fuss, and that’s what we help with. If the phone rings late, someone usually picks it up. That's just how we run things around here in Colaba.
