Balle Balle Restarant

Our kitchen is located at 5/40 in the Digvijay Mill Compound. It’s on D.L. Marg in the Kalachowki area of Mumbai. The compound is an old place, and you can still feel the history of the mills around here. It isn't a place for a fancy candlelit dinner. It’s more of a spot where you get good food and don't worry about the decor. We have a few tables and chairs, and the kitchen is always hot. You can smell the spices and the frying as soon as you turn the corner into the compound. We get a lot of workers from the nearby shops and people who live in the area. Kalachowki is a tight-knit place. We’ve been here for a long time, and we know what people like to eat. Sometimes the ceiling fan makes a loud buzzing sound, but nobody seems to mind as long as the food is hot. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us in the back and someone out front. It’s a lot of scrubbing pots and chopping onions every morning. Mumbai-33 is our home. We aren't part of some big chain. It’s just our little restaurant in the middle of a busy old mill compound, doing what we know how to do. Some people come every day for years and we know their order before they even sit down at the table.
