Bag Stores

Bag Stores is located right opposite Nakoda Medical in Malad West. It’s a small shop, number three, but we managed to fit a lot of stuff inside. If you walk in, you’ll see bags hanging from the ceiling and stacked along the walls in piles. We’ve got school bags, travel bags, and those little purses people use for daily errands. It gets really crowded on the weekends when families come out to shop together. The sidewalk outside is always narrow because of the street vendors, but people find their way to us eventually. We’ve been here long enough that we know the guys at the medical store across the way pretty well. We spend our time fixing displays or showing people how many pockets a backpack has. Sometimes a zipper gets stuck, and we have to wiggle it loose for a customer before they buy it. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us who know where everything is kept. The lighting inside is a bit bright, but it helps people see the colors clearly. We keep a diary for our daily sales on the main counter. It’s nothing special, just a local shop in Malad where you can find something to carry your things in. We see the same school kids every year when the new term starts. It’s a simple life, and we like being part of the local market scene here. We just keep things moving and try to stay organized as much as possible.
