Badal Flowers

We’ve been here at A/15 Laxmi Sopping Centre for quite a while now. It's right near the station in Ghatkopar West, specifically in the Sindhi Colony area, so there is always a lot of foot traffic passing by. Most days start pretty early because that is when the fresh stock arrives from the main market. We spend a lot of time just trimming stems and making sure everything looks okay on the shelves. It gets a bit crowded in this part of town, especially during the evenings when people are heading home from the train. Our shop isn't very big, but we try to keep it organized enough so people can see what we actually have in stock. Sometimes the floors get a bit wet from the buckets, but that just happens when you work with plants all day. People come in looking for something quick for a puja or maybe a small gift, and we just hand over what they need. It is a straightforward kind of work. We know most of the regulars who walk past every morning. Sometimes they stop to chat, other times they are in a rush. Ghatkopar is a busy place, and being near the station means we see all sorts of folks. There’s no fancy setup here, just us and the flowers. We keep the shutters up until late evening. It is just a regular local business trying to keep up with the daily rush of the colony. Nothing more to it.
