Our office is in B-2 of the Matru Dham Co-Operative Society. It’s tucked away in Samel Pada, which is in Nallasopara West. If you are looking for us, we are right near the old Laxmi Rice Mill. You can usually hear the activity from the mill during the day. We’ve been in this building for quite a while now. It’s a basic setup. We have a few tables, some old chairs, and cabinets full of hotel records. We aren't a hotel ourselves, even though the name says B D & P Hotels. We just handle the back-end business stuff from here. The area around Samel Pada is always moving, with trucks and people everywhere. Sometimes it gets a bit dusty because of all the nearby work, but we just keep the windows shut and get on with our tasks. The staff here is small. We aren't wearing suits or anything. We just wear what’s comfortable for a long day of work. We handle a lot of paperwork and phone calls. Sometimes the rain in Thane makes the roads a mess, but we still show up. It’s a practical place to work. There aren't any flashy signs or anything corporate about how we work. We just make sure the accounts and management stuff for the hotels are handled properly. It’s steady work. Most of us have been here long enough that we don’t even notice the noise anymore. We just do our bit.
