You’ll find Aumkrit Constructions Llp in the Fort area of Mumbai. We are on the second floor of Shaheen Apartment, which is at 132 Modi Street. Fort is an old part of the city, and the buildings here have so much history. Our office is no different. It’s not a modern glass tower; it’s a lived-in space that feels like it’s seen a lot of years. We do construction work, which means we are usually covered in dust or looking at maps of the city. Being in Fort is handy because we are close to a lot of the government offices we need to visit for paperwork. The streets around here are narrow and always crowded with people and small shops. It’s a lively place to work. Inside Shaheen Apartment, things are a bit quieter. We have our desks set up and we spend our time managing workers and materials. There is always a list of problems to solve, whether it’s a delivery that didn't show up or a plan that needs changing. We don't use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. We just build stuff. We’ve been at this for a while and we have a small, solid crew. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until night. We just focus on the task at hand and try to stay organized in the middle of all the city chaos. It's not always easy.
