Kurla West is a place that never really stops moving. We are tucked away in Chawl Number 6, specifically in Room Number 10. It’s a modest little spot, not far from the Ghazi Baba Dargah. If you know the area, you know how busy it gets with all the people and the local traffic. Atique Enterprises Rent A Car has been operating from here for a good while. We spend a lot of our time coordinating where the cars are and making sure they are ready for the next person who needs them. There isn't a big showroom or anything like that. It’s mostly just us sitting in the office, answering the phone and keeping track of the keys. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic when several people show up at once, but we manage. The neighborhood is very lively, especially in the evenings. Being near the Dargah means there’s always something going on outside. The office itself is simple, just the basic stuff we need to run things. We don't go for anything fancy because that’s not really who we are. It’s a local business, through and through. We know the regulars who come by to rent a vehicle for a trip or some work. It’s a lot of talking to people and checking schedules. We just do our work and try to keep things running smoothly without too much fuss. Even when the monsoon rains make the streets a bit of a mess, we’re still here at the office.
