Asian Business Exhibitions & Conferences Ltd. Andheri (W)

We are located up on the 12th floor of Challengers, Tower 1, right in Thakur Village in Kandivali East. Mumbai is always a bit of a rush and being up here gives us a little bit of a view of the rooftops while we work at Asian Business Exhibitions & Conferences Ltd. It is a bit of a commute for some of us, especially when the trains are packed or the rain starts coming down hard. The office itself is number 1204 and it gets a lot of light in the mornings. We have desks pushed together and there are always stacks of brochures and floor plans lying around for the next big show we are setting up. It is not a quiet place by any means because someone is always on the phone or typing away at a keyboard. We keep a stash of biscuits in the drawer for when the afternoon slump hits. Dealing with exhibitions means we are always worrying about dates and space and making sure the crates get where they need to go. It is a lot of logistics and talking to people all day long. The elevator in the building can be a bit slow during lunch hour so we usually just bring our tiffins and eat together in the small break area. It is just a group of us trying to keep all the events organized and making sure nothing falls through the cracks in the middle of all the Mumbai chaos.
