Ashok Engineering Works

You can find Ashok Engineering Works at Andheri East 4. It’s a loud place, to be honest. There is always the sound of metal hitting metal or the grind of a machine running. We have oil stains on the floor that have been there since we moved in. It’s an engineering shop, so it’s supposed to be a bit messy. We work with our hands most of the time. Andheri East is a hub for this kind of stuff. There are plenty of other shops around, but we stay in our lane at number 4. The ceiling is high, which is good because it gets hot when the machines are all going at once. We have big heavy doors that we slide open in the morning. Sometimes we have to shout to hear each other over the noise. We drink our tea standing up near the workbench because there isn't much room for chairs. We don't have a reception area or a secretary. If you come by, you just walk in and find one of us covered in a bit of grease. We’ve been doing this for a long time. The tools are old but they still work perfectly fine. We don't see any reason to change things up. We just do the engineering work and make sure the jobs get finished. It’s honest work here at Andheri East 4. We finish up when the work is done for the day.
