Ascent Machineries & Engg. Services

We are over in Goregaon West at the Nalanda Shopping Center. Our shop is on the first floor, number two. Being right on Station Road means it is always noisy with the trains and the people rushing to catch them. It is a busy part of Mumbai and we have been here for a while now. Ascent Machineries & Engg. Services isn't a huge operation. We have our workspace where we handle the engineering stuff and the machinery parts. It gets a bit cramped when we have a lot of tools out but that’s just how it is. The shopping center itself is an older building and can get quite warm in the afternoons. We don't have fancy decorations or a big sign to draw people in. Mostly, people find us because they know where we are or someone told them about us. It’s a lot of hands-on work and we usually have grease on our hands by noon. We don't spend much time on the computer unless we are looking up a specific part or checking an order. The local tea guy comes around twice a day and that's usually our only real break. It is a straightforward business and we don't try to make it seem like anything else. We just show up, do the engineering tasks that come in for the day, and go home when the work is finished. It’s a solid spot for us despite the noise from the railway station nearby.
