Artson Engineering Ltd.

Artson Engineering Ltd. is on the first floor of the M.L. Agarwal Building. We are at Plot No.426 on W.T. Patil Marg, right across from Sadapti Hospital in Chembur. Being in Mumbai, it’s always a bit humid, and the traffic on the road outside never really stops. Our office is a busy place where there are always blueprints or technical drawings spread out on the tables. We spend a lot of time on the phone or working on the computer, trying to get the engineering details right. It’s not a very quiet office because there is always someone discussing a project or a site visit. We have a lot of files stacked up, and the desks are usually a bit of a mess with all the paperwork. The view out the window is mostly just the hospital and the cars going by on the bypass. We aren’t really into fancy office decor; it’s more about having enough space to work. The elevators in the building can be a bit slow, so we end up taking the stairs a lot. It’s a lot of coordination between the people here in the office and the guys out on the field. We just try to keep everything on schedule, which is harder than it looks. It’s a lot of long hours sometimes, especially when a big project is moving along, but we just get through it together.
