Artist Traders

You can find Artist Traders right across from the railway station in Vile-Parle East. We are located at 52/53 in Agarwal Market on Monghibai Road. It’s a very crowded area, especially when the trains come in. Our shop is usually full of stuff piled high. We sell all sorts of things that artists and creators might need. It’s not the most organized place in the world, I’ll admit that. There are brushes and paints and papers tucked into every corner. But if you ask us for something, we usually know exactly which pile it’s buried under. My family has been running things here for a long time. We know a lot of the local students and professional artists who live around here. They stop by to chat or look for a specific supply. We don't spend money on big ads or anything. People just know we are here in Agarwal Market. The noise from the station is something you get used to after a few days. It’s just part of the background. We open early because that’s when the market gets going. It’s a lot of standing on your feet and helping people find what they want. Sometimes we run out of things, but we try to get them back in stock quickly. It’s a simple business but it keeps us connected to the neighborhood.
