Arte Cottages At Kihim Beach Alibaug

Even though our cottages are over at Kihim Beach in Alibaug, we run things from our office in Vile Parle East. It’s Flat No F/1 in the Navprabhat Co-operative, right near Greater Bank. It’s a bit of a strange setup, having the office so far from the actual beach, but that’s how we manage the bookings and the maintenance schedules. Running Arte Cottages keeps us pretty busy. There’s always something that needs fixing or a guest who has a specific request. Alibaug is a nice place, very different from the noise of Vile Parle. At the office, we spend a lot of time on the phone or writing down dates in a ledger. We try to keep things simple and honest. If a cottage needs painting, we get it painted. If the garden needs work, we find someone to do it. It’s mostly about making sure things are ready for when people want to get away for a weekend. We’ve been at this for a while now. The Vile Parle neighborhood is familiar to us, and being near the bank makes the business side easier to handle. We aren't a big hotel chain with fancy uniforms. We’re just regular people making sure a few cottages by the sea are kept in good shape. It’s hard work sometimes, but it’s what we do every day. We make sure the keys are ready and the beds are made for every guest that visits.
