Our small office is on the ground floor of the A Wing, Shop 5, over in Byculla. It is quite close to the old Khatau Mills area which everyone around here knows. Most days you will find us sitting behind the counter looking at bus schedules or trying to find a train seat for someone. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons because the sun hits the front window directly. We have some old posters on the walls of places we haven't actually visited ourselves yet. People come in mostly to ask about ticket prices or how long it takes to get to the coast. It’s a lot of talking and checking screens all day long. Sometimes we just sit and share a snack with the shopkeeper from next door. Byculla is a busy place with a lot of history, and we've seen many businesses come and go while we stayed right here. We don't have a big fancy website or anything like that. People just walk in because they saw our sign from the road. It’s a simple setup with a couple of desks and a telephone that never seems to stop ringing. We just try to help folks get their travel plans sorted without too much fuss. It is a decent way to spend the day, hearing about where people are headed for their holidays or for work. We just keep things moving and hope the trains run on time.
