We have been doing this for several years now. The building is well-maintained and we know the neighbors quite well. Sometimes they stop by just to say hello. We don’t have a big sign outside, just a small one near the door. It is a very practical way of running things. We spend a lot of time on the phone coordinating with workers and making sure we have enough supplies for the next job. It is a steady business and we keep it simple. The hallway sometimes smells like cooking from the other apartments.
