Our office is located at Powai, specifically on Q Road in the Belgachia Queens 6 building. It is a busy spot, and the traffic around here can be a real headache during the morning rush. The office is where we handle all the planning and paperwork for our infrastructure projects. If you walked in, you would see a lot of large maps and blueprints spread out over the tables. It is not a very quiet place because the phones are always ringing and people are always coming in from various sites with mud on their boots. We don't spend much on decorations; the walls are mostly covered with project schedules and old calendars. There is a small kitchen area where we make tea, and that is usually the center of all our conversations. We talk about the weather, the local news, and how the current projects are moving along. Sometimes things get stressful when deadlines are close, but we just put our heads down and work through it. The staff is a mix of older guys who have seen it all and younger ones just starting out. We all take the same local buses or trains to get here, so we know the commute is tough. It is just a regular office where we try to keep track of a lot of moving parts in the construction world. Nothing more, nothing less. We usually stay late most evenings to finish up.
