Arabian Express

You can find us at Shop No 1, 21 in the Win Villa building on Clare Road. Being in Byculla means things are always moving fast around us. Arabian Express is a small place, but we stay busy from the moment we open up. Mumbai is a city that never really stops, and Clare Road is no different. We spend our time making sure the food is ready for the office workers and the locals who live in the old buildings nearby. Our kitchen isn't very large, so we have to stay organized to get everything done. It is a lot of hard work, mostly standing on our feet and dealing with the heat from the stoves. We don't use any fancy marketing tricks here. We just show up and do our jobs. Sometimes we have a bit of a line out the door, especially during the dinner rush, but we try to move as fast as we can without making mistakes. The building we are in, Win Villa, has its own character and we like being part of this neighborhood. We have been here long enough that we know most of the regulars by their first names. It is just a practical, everyday kind of place where you can get a meal and head back to whatever you were doing in the city. We don't have a mission statement, just a lot of daily cooking and cleaning.
