Apsara Ice Cream Centre

You can find us at Kondeshwar Bhavan, Shop No 5. It is a bit confusing because the address mentions both Ghatkopar East and Malad West, but we are right here in the building known as T. It is a small shop, like most of the ones in this row. I spend most of my shift behind the counter, scooping ice cream for whoever walks in. The floor is usually a bit sticky no matter how many times I mop it during the day. That is just what happens when you sell ice cream all day long. We have the usual flavors and some that people ask for specifically. The freezer hums all day and night. It is a sound I do not even hear anymore until it stops. During the summer, the shop gets really hot, even with the fans going full blast. Customers usually stand outside on the pavement to eat because there isn't much room inside the shop itself. We see a lot of families after they finish their dinner. It is a nice vibe, even if it gets a bit hectic when ten people walk in at once. I have been working here long enough to know what the regulars want before they even say it. We do not have a fancy website or a big office. It is just me and a couple of others keeping the tubs full. It is simple work, but it keeps us busy from morning until late at night.
