Anna Travels

We’ve been running our little travel agency at Shop No 12 in Upadhyay Nagar for quite some time now. Being located in Andheri East, right near the Suncity Hotel, means it’s always busy around here. It’s a small place, nothing fancy at all, just a few desks and some old maps on the wall. We handle a bit of everything, from booking train tickets for people going back to their villages to sorting out flights for business trips. The phone tends to ring off the hook during the holiday seasons, which can get a bit stressful. We don’t have a big corporate team, just a couple of us who know the computer systems well enough. Sometimes the internet acts up and we have to ask customers to wait a bit longer while we refresh the pages. It’s just the way things go in this part of town. We’ve got a lot of regulars who stop by just to ask about prices or to see if there are any new routes available. We try to be as helpful as we can, even if it’s just giving directions. The shop isn't much to look at from the outside, but we keep it clean and organized. We spend most of our day checking schedules and trying to find the cheapest options for folks who are on a tight budget. It’s steady work and we like being part of the local community here near the hotel.
